The Hertfordshire FA has a dedicated team of staff that look to safeguard and develop football within the county. Based at The County Ground in Letchworth, both the Governance and Development teams work together in improving the football experience for all within Hertfordshire.

Youth Connexions Hertfordshire is a service for young people which aims to provide information and advice, guidance and support, and personal development opportunities for all 13-19 year olds (up to 25 years for young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities).

English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) is the national body responsible for developing sport for disabled people in England. We work closely with the six National Disability Sports Organisations (NDSOs) recognised by Sport England to develop sporting opportunities for the 11 million disabled people in England.

West Hertfordshire Primary Care Trust (PCT) is responsible for working with local people to improve their health and to make sure that primary care services (for example those NHS services provided by your GP, community nurse, health visitor, therapist or school health advisor) are delivered to the highest possible standard.

Hertfordshire School Sports Partnership
The partnership's overall aim is to help schools to ensure that their pupils spend a minimum of 2 hours each week, within and beyond the curriculum, on high quality PE and school sport.

As part of PE and Sport Strategy for Young People (PESSYP), a team of competition managers has been distributed to work across the county. The team will provide opportunities for all young people in a greater variety of sports and develop pathways to support talented athletes.
